My name is Sharon Crisafulli and I am passionate about many things in my life. One of them happens to be genealogy. After all James Arthur Baldwin said it best “Know from whence you came, If you know from whence you came, there are absolutely no limitations to where you can go.” In this blog I will share with you some amazing genealogical stories and finds on my genealogical pursuit. Come journey thru time with me.
I was in Mt. Olivet today and noticed a group of gravestones South of the line of Confederate soldiers. This group of headstones is unusually close to one another. It makes me wonder if this group of people were buried in shrouds only. Do you have any information on this area of the graveyard?
Hi Abby:
I know exactly what you are talking about, I was actually there yesterday and looking for someone to answer your question. I will keep trying to find out for you.
Sharon,
Thank you for sharing your research. Visiting and documenting cemeteries is so much fun. I’m trying to find any traces of family photos that go back to / with the Elizabeth Brunner lineage in Frederick area. I noticed you have what looks may be a photo of Gen. James C Clarke. Would there be a chance you have access to any photos or drawings of his wife Susan or their children (or some of Susan’s family)?
Brad,
Sorry it has taken me a while to respond my comment notifier was off. I do have a photo of two of his children. I have them loaded at Ancestry. I would love to have a photo of Susan. I have been searching for years. Please keep in contact and thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.
